DMI's Classic Rock band, DeltaRoX, opened the 4th Annual Grammy U Kickoff event in Memphis last week with a rockin' 25 minute set of the best of American rock. Several other Grammy U members from Delta State also attended the event to take advantage of networking ops with Grammy U members from other universities...check it out!

The Delta Music Institute, a recording arts and music industry studies program at Delta State, is proud to welcome six new students into the Institute this fall! Classes are in full swing, and the two DMI bands, Ol' Skool Revue and DeltaRoX, already have a full slate of gigs on the books. To keep up with the bands' schedules, visit the DMI webpage at dmi.deltastate.edu and click on "Bands." There's a Google calendar there with the dates...come see us!

DeltaRoX is a classic rock band from the Delta Music Institute at Delta State University.DeltaRoX’s set list includes hits from the 70s and 80s in the classic rock genre of American music. Barry Bays, instructor and director of DMI ensembles noted that, “this DMI ensemble is working hard to present a wide range of songs that have grown out of various styles of roots music to become American
classics."
